In order for you to become a Flight Attendant, you have to comply with the Basic Criteria.

Airlines WILL NOT ACCEPT you if you do not meet these requirements.

You have to be 18 years and older You have to have a Grade 12 (matric) certificate You have to be able to swim You have to be able to speak English FLUENTLY You have to be a South African citizen (for SA airlines) You have to be taller than 1,50m and less than 1,90m (different for each airline – will be discussed in the Information Package/online Information course)
